Course Objectives The aim of this course is to describe how human resources management as a key function meets the needs of the organizations to achieve their strategic goals.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • explain the strategic role of human resources management in organizations.
  • define human resources management and reveal the differences between personnel management and human resources management.
  • learn the titles and organizational structures used in Human Resources management, and explain the factors affecting HR management.
  • learn and apply the methods and applications related to selection and placement functions.
  • learn and apply contemporary practices regarding performance evaluation management,
  • learn the definitions and practices related to career management, education and remuneration.
  • learn the latest trends in human resources management.
  • have knowledge about the law numbered 4857 and Occupational Health and Safety.
Course Description Strategic importance of human resources and workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, remuneration, career management and organizational backup issues will be linked with each other and taught to students.
